Today our Director Jig Patel had a good chat with Simon Smith – the Area Manager of INZ New Delhi. We are currently establishing the ways we can work together with Immigration New Zealand to attract better clients and investors to the country. We will discuss this topic in depth in a week in our meeting with both Area Managers in India.

Jig and Simon have also discussed the coming Cricket World Cup and the surrounding immigration matters. Simon has suggested that the best option for visitors is to apply for Australia Visitor Visa and come to New Zealand through the Trans-Tasman Visa Arrangement. This means that anybody who holds a valid Australian tourist visa during just before and just after the Cricket World Cup may come to visit New Zealand without applying for a NZ visa.

International visitors will still be required to meet the respective health, security and character requirements of both countries and each country will retain the right to refuse entry if a visitor does not meet these requirements.

Further information on the arrangement and the Australian visas included in it is available at www.immi.gov.au/cwc

Remember, if you have received a letter from INZ about your visa application or think your visa may be declined or expire soon – the time to act is NOW. Call us on 0800 967 584 to you’re your FREE consultation. Our service is strictly confidential and we can guide you to take the right steps to avoid mistakes and put forward a strong case.

I will be writing more helpful articles in the future. Like our Facebook Page to be informed!

Kind regards,

Jig Patel
